Now Open for the Class of 2022!

The College Board Opportunity Scholarships program is now open for class of 2022 students. It guides students step by step through the college planning process. For each step that a student completes, they'll earn a chance at a $500 scholarship. When they complete all six steps, they'll earn a chance at $40,000. Please share this program with your juniors and encourage them to sign up and take the first step by building a college list on BigFuture™.

Students Can Double Their Chances to Earn a Scholarship if:
They received or used a fee waiver from the College Board.
They attend a high school where 75% or more of students are eligible for free or reduced-price lunch.
Their annual family income is $60,000 or less

will sponsor a virtual FINANCIAL AID NIGHT On Thursday, March 11, 2021 from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Students and families can register for a Virtual College Financial Aid Night provided by Treasury’s MI Student Aid team. Sessions will be available every Tuesday and Thursday evening during the month of February from 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. EST.

Participants will be able to gather information on the following financial aid topics:

  • FAFSA application information
  • Federal financial aid programs
  • State financial aid programs
  • Scholarship searching
  • MiSSG Student Portal Accounts

All sessions are open to the public and participants are encouraged to sign up for one session only due to limited space.

Students can earn a full scholarship to CCS Precollege Summer Experience

CCS offers three unique competitions, exclusively for high school students interested in Transportation Design, Fashion Design and Product Design. Selected participants will be awarded a full scholarship to attend the three-week CCS Precollege Summer Experience free of charge, while also earning three college credits.
Our Precollege program helps students explore a potential major, tackle a project and build their portfolio. They'll meet new people, learn from professionals, receive feedback from admissions counselors and more!
All competitions are open now and run through March 1, 2021.
