From The Principal

Welcome Back Chieftains!!

headshotThe 2018-19 School Year is literally weeks away.  To my incoming sophomore families, welcome to Utica High, the home of the Chieftains.  We look forward to starting our new year with some new faces, new classes, and a wonderful group of new students to continue the tradition of excellence that defines Utica High School.

Student back-to-school registration packets will be sent home early next week and will have more detail on Chieftain Days, our registration process.  If you can’t wait for them to come in the mail, the forms are located under the “HOW DO I” tab at the top of the website and then click, “Access Chieftain Days Registration Information”. You will also be able to access them from our Calendar.

We have three Chieftain Days, a unique day for each grade.  Registration will be in the Cafeteria this year.  Senior Chieftain Day is on Tuesday, August 21, Juniors on Wednesday, August 22, and Sophomores on Thursday, August 23.  Each day has registration times broken up by alpha.  Those times are as follows:
Report at    8:00 a.m. A – C
Report at    8:30 a.m. D – G
Report at    9:00 a.m.   H – K
Report at    9:30 a.m. L – O
Report at  10:00 a.m. P – S
Report at  10:30 a.m.    T – Z
Athletic tryouts/practices begin next week.  The schedules and information for those tryouts can be found HERE
